Cabbage Hash Browns

I had to try the internet buzz of the cabbage hash brown. So how was it?

Step 1:

  • 2 cups Shredded Cabbage

  • 2 Eggs, beaten

  • 1/2 cup Diced Onion

  • 1/2 tsp Granulated Garlic

  • 1/2 tsp Paprika

  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper (or more if you desire)

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine thoroughly.

Step 2:

Heat a pan (non-stick if you choose) over medium heat and then add your cooking oil - enough for a light coating of the pan.

Make hand-formed patties with the mixture and gently lay on the pan.

Be careful not to burn the cabbage. With a spatula, gently peek on the underside of the patties. If you see a nice golden-brown crust that sticks together, it will be ready to flip.

The more practice you have with this, the better you’ll get!
